Trying to find directions to our facility?
Authorized visitors with official Merrimac Center business are welcome to come and visit us (during visiting/business hours of course). Look below to find the set of directions you need from your location.


Coming from Norfolk/Southside
Take I-64 West. Take exit 247, (Lee Hall/Yorktown). Bear right at the end of the exit onto Route 238 West. At the light, go left onto Route 143 West (Merrimac Trail/Jefferson Avenue). Stay in the right hand lane on 143 West. Go approximately 2 miles. You will pass the Naval Weapons Station on the right, Bransome Concrete plant on the left and VDOT (Virginia Department of Transportation), blue sign on right. Just after this sign, stay in the right hand lane and make an immediate right hand turn into the parking lot. The gray/blue building immediately in front of you is the Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail. Make an immediate left onto the service road in front of the jail, and you will see our Center at the end of the road. It is a brick building with a green roof. The entrance is under the white pillars. Buzz the doorbell, announce yourself and then proceed to the first glass window.

Coming from Richmond/Northern Virginia
Take I-64 East. Take exit 247, to Rte. 143 West (Lee Hall/Yorktown). At the end of the exit, turn right onto 143 West. Stay in the right hand lane on Route 143 West. You will pass Bransome Concrete plant on the left and VDOT (Virginia Department of Transportation), blue sign on right. Just after this sign, stay in the right hand lane and make an immediate right hand turn into the parking lot.
